Administrative Assistant Position Opening

JOB DESCRIPTION

Part-Time Administrative Support

THE ORGANIZATION

G.IRL is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that supports girls and gender-nonconforming youth from underprivileged neighborhoods. We offer culturally affirming programs to introduce our youth to unique experiences they may not otherwise have access to. For over six years, we have made learning something new accessible to our audience by eliminating common barriers such as transportation, membership fees, and meals.

Our mission is to empower girls from underserved communities by providing them with high-quality experiences. We achieve this by working with community partners, corporations, and other organizations to offer unique opportunities such as coding camps, support for teen mothers, and access to the arts, wellness, and career exploration. We provide these experiences to our youth audience to help them grow and succeed personally and professionally.

In addition, we actively support LGBTQIA+ youth in Compton through inclusive sexual health programs, relationship education, and exposure to queer mentors and businesses.

We are growing out of our awkward adolescence and looking for someone to grow with us.
